- New Educator Status — This award is intended specifically for educators early in their teaching career.
- Texas Thespians Involvement - This award is intended for candidates that are involved with Texas Thespians at their home campus or at the organizational level.
Selection Criteria
Nominees are evaluated based on:
- Passion — Evident enthusiasm and love for educational theatre and teaching.
- Drive — Demonstrated motivation and initiative in building or growing their theatre program.
- Early Impact — Signs of promise and positive influence on students and their program despite being early in their career.
